STANLEY® has announced an upgraded series of its trusted, best-selling STANLEY TYLON™ tape measures, combining enhanced ergonomics and a smooth, seamless user experience.

Constructed to last, the STANLEY TYLON tape has a solid reputation in the professional trades for its strength and accuracy. Now with a range of improvements to its overall design, the upgraded model is built for ease of use, and is designed to withstand daily wear and tear on the jobsite.

Engineered for resilience, each product in the line-up offers 1.5x more abrasion resistance than standard lacquered tapes thanks to its robust TYLON coating. Its ergonomically-designed casing is equipped with a soft rubber overmould featuring a specially grooved surface, delivering maximum grip and stability, and a more comfortable feel in the hand.

The improved Slidelock function makes the tape extremely easy to use, and enables seamless engagement with a smooth and balanced tape retracting action, while the Tru-Zero™ hook allows for exact inner and outer measurements, moving back and forth along the securing rivets to account for the hook thickness.

Manufactured to Class II accuracy, the TYLON tape provides optimum reliability, with a reassuring error tolerance of +/-0.5mm at 1 metre. Its 13mm wide bright yellow STANLEY blade ensures ultimate visibility on the jobsite, and features clear and legible markings throughout.

An integrated belt clip affords extra practicality, convenience and safety, allowing the tape to be secured to a belt, waistband or pocket.

STANLEY TYLON tapes are available in three lengths: 3m, 5m and 8m to meet all professional requirements.
