Phone/tablet apps

Postby dickllewellyn » Tue Dec 05, 2017 8:19 pm

Just wondered if anyone has any apps they swear by for work?

I use the Bosch app a bit, and EasyCert for my electrical certification. Does anybody use any apps for invoicing etc?

Hi Dick,long time!

I'm looking into using Quickbooks Online. This would allow me to invoice straight after the job and not have to wait till I get home. Once I'm home, it's a chore to do paperwork.

One piece of software I swear by is Todoist - it's a project management tool but I use it to organise jobs in the following categories:

To visit
To quote
To order
To invoice

So I can keep track of what I need to be doing. Check it out.

Cheers Homeguard, I’ll take a look at that app.

I briefly looked at quickbooks, and also Xero which lots of people have suggested. I’ve also heard Wave and Joist talked about for invoicing etc.
