This level is great, it feels very sturdy to work with and able to cope with the knocks on site. The vials are nice and large giving you a good clear view, the rubber end caps are a nice feature and they feel solid and not that they would fall off very easily. The level is good for brickwork and block work although it is a little on the heavy side compared to my stabila level but all in all an excellent solid level which I would recommend .

I was sent this level to review ! This level felt sturdy and light ! Straight out of the packaging I could tell that this level is well made and ergonomic, in my line of work I got to run it through its paces , from Putying plasterboard , hanging joists and even using it to plumb up a brick wall with pillars it has preformed highly ! I've had the same girder style level for years but the FatMax level far outperformed it in so many ways , it was lighter so after a day working you still hardly noticed the weight in your hands , it had highly visible vials at all angles of use and it proved tough enough to stay true even after being bashed about and even dropped a couple of times ! It's proved so good that ive stopped using my old level and I'm looking at getting the 600mm and the 1800mm !

Like most tradesmen, we have all tried other levels after having a stabila and normal revert back to the norm... Not this time! I had the simat looking yellow box level from Stanley, it was s##t to be fair, the fat max pro is baxi ally what it says, I put this level through as much stick you could possibly give it. It's been used on brickwork, blockwork, dabbing and just to top it off ... A kitchen Install and it's as true now as it was when it arrived. Fair play Stanley!

I've been using my 4ft level for over a month now, and I can safely say that it is the best level I have used. It feels solid and robust and I am confident that it will withstand any of the knocks and bumps that it is sure to take on site and in the van. The level, although very solid, is quite light compared to other levels I've used. The two hand grips enable it to be used in any position very comfortably. The vials are extremely clear, and the bubble stands out, even with the sun glaring through it. Overall, this is a quality level from a quality brand, and I would happily recommend it to anyone. Keep up the good work.

MY COMPANY HAS BEEN IN TRADE FOR NUMBER OF YEARS AND WE TRIED ALL SORTS OF MAKES AND MODELS OF TOOLS. IN REGARDS OF THIS SPIRIT LEVEL, WHAT I PERSONALLY FOUND IS THAT THE CONSTRUCTION OF IT IS STURDY AND LIGHTWEIGHT THEREFORE MAKING IT RELIABLE AND FOOLPROOF ON SITE. 3 VIALS ARE EASY CLEAR AND EASY TO READ. IVE HAD THIS PARTICULAR ONE NOW OVER A MONTH, ITS BEEN DROPPED, STAMPED ON AND SO ON AND SO ON. STILL WORKS A TREAT. BRILLIANT PIECE OF KIT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

As expected with any Fatmax product this is a great bit of kit. Instantly the design looks good and professional and you can feel the quality gone into producing this as soon as you get your hands on it. It's lightweight but sturdy at the same time. The size of this is very nice too, it's wide enough to have the confidence to move things around while its sat on top without the worry of it wobbling over every time it moves. I will now be giving my other levels away as this is the one I will choose to be using fo many years to come.
